The regulation is an integral part of the LARX CARBON-FILM.COM heating system. Temperature has a major impact on well-being in the home. When it’s too hot or too cold, that’s not it. Everyone suits a different temperature, and in addition, appropriate regulation will have a positive effect on energy bills.

In order to achieve low heating costs, in addition to a high-quality and efficient method and source of heating, it is necessary to choose high-quality and precise heating control. Properly chosen regulation can not only increase the comfort and well-being of household use, but also significantly reduce heating costs with well-set heating.

In general, heating systems using radiators or direct heaters  are difficult to control precisely. This is because these heaters must heat the entire room with their small heating area. It must therefore heat to a much higher temperature than with full-area (floor / ceiling) heating systems. Due to the high temperature difference between the radiator and the heated room, there is local overheating (the radiator is significantly warmer than, for example, the door) and thus there is a significant swirl of dust.

On the contrary, the heating systems with the most accurate and fastest room temperature control include carbon heating films, which are a low-temperature type of heating, so there is no local overheating and swirling of dust. The accuracy and speed of regulation of heating films is based on the principle of zone heating. Zone heating is a type of intelligent local heating that can offer greater control and efficiency. In each room (zone) there is a thermostat on the wall, which regulates the temperature only in the given room.

Zone heating allows you to set different temperatures in different rooms. This is usually achieved by setting weekly and time programs on the thermostats. All our thermostats support this programming. There is no energy loss, because it is heated only in those rooms that currently need heating.

Zone heating control can be adjusted to our schedule. For example, if we return home from work every day at about the same time, it is certainly not necessary to heat the whole house all day. This can significantly reduce the energy consumption of the heating system of a family house and thus save considerable costs.

An important part of any underfloor heating system is a thermostat with a floor temperature sensor. According to the standard, the temperature of the tread should not exceed 29 ° C in living rooms (33 ° C in bathrooms), so it is important to use a thermostat with an internal (according to which we regulate room temperature) and external (according to which we control the floor temperature) temperature sensor. Our LARX LCD and Wi-Fi thermostats meet all these requirements. In addition, it is possible, for example in summer when there is no need to heat, to set the control only according to an external sensor, and thus use the heating films only to heat the floor to a comfortable temperature.

The basic method of regulation of heating film in a high-quality design. It has both manual and programmable weekly mode. The controls are completely intuitive, push-button. The floor sensor can be used to limit the maximum floor temperature. The thermostat can also monitor the non-freezing temperature.

The LARX WiFi thermostat has the same functions as the LARX LCD thermostat, a slightly larger display and the most important thing – Wi-Fi connection. Thanks to this, you will connect the thermostat to your home Wi-Fi network and, thanks to a sophisticated mobile application, you can control the heating of your house from anywhere in the world. The simplest solution for remote control of the LARX CARBON-FILM.COM heating system.

Your own heating regulation

Of course, carbon heating film can also be regulated by other types of heating regulation than just those we offer. From the point of view of the controlling heat in the room, carbon heating films are the simplest way of heating. They are controled with relays/switches in the manner 0/1, ie they either heat or do not heat. there is no lossy regulation of voltage or of flowing current. The thermostat completely disconnects the power when  the required temperature is achieved. The heating films then switch on at several-minute intervals a few times an hour, just as the room cools down.

Various smart home and automation systems such as Loxone, Control4, Teco, Tuya and others can therefore be used to control the temperature when heating with carbon heating films. We will provide our customers with all the support in the selection and implementation of their own carbon film heating control solutions.

An important part of any heating film control system is that the thermostat has a floor temperature sensor in addition to the room sensor. The floor sensor monitors the temperature direcxtly on the heating film to prevent the floor from overheating and, in extreme situations, damage to the floor covering (usually floor coverings are certified to 27 ° C). Thermostats with a floor sensor can also be used to increase comfort in the summer months by using the heating film only to heat the floor to a comfortable temperature, regardless of the room temperature. Heating film cannot be installed without a floor sensor.
